"Mare"?
For anyone not from the Philippines, "mare" (pronounced mah-reh) is a common term used by female friends to address each other as a sign of close friendship and connection.
I chose to use "mare" as part of the blog's name, because I also want to foster the same sense of closeness/connection/community with my readers. Also, as a write, I also just want to feel as if I am talking to a female friend.
